Thai Drivers License Certification:

If you hold a Thai drivers license, and need to have it certified for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation please follow the instructions below.

1) If the license is only in Thai, have the drivers license translated by a certified service. In Canada this can be done at www.thaicanadaservice.com

2) Bring original license and translation to the consulate and we will certify with a cover letter and stamp to the translation.

3) Take the license and certified translation to the MTO.

 

Thailand Police Clearance Certificate:

 

Foreign applicants residing in Canada who have previously worked or resided in Thailand can apply for Police Clearance Certificates at the special Branch, Royal Thai Police at the following address:

Rama 1, Pathumwan,
Bangkok 10330, Thailand

 Applicants must submit the following documents:

- A certified photocopy of Passport

- Document(s) which proves that applicant has worked or resided in Thailand.

- A certified photocopy of Thai Working Permit (if available)

- Two photographs (1 inch by 2 inches)

- Three sets of fingerprints. (For applicants residing abroad, fingerprints must be taken at local police or authorized agent in the residing country, and must be certified by the Thai Embassy or Consulate.

- An envelope with pre-paid stamps (for applicants residing in Canada, please contact Royal Thai Police for more detail how to send your certificate back.)
